this is a temporary....image for this, it needs to be resized and at the moment i can't. Here is the original of the drawing...in purple uniball ink and i say original because i will be submitting another form of this drawing - same thing only black and white and saying that....i actually like the black and white one better sadly.
onto the description of the drawing its self.
This drawing is suposed to be chaotic, distracting but overall interesting and 'amazing' if you will...the all solid purple figure thats so distracting on the left is a certain someone - and all the wonderfull things behind it - is what i have now. This drawing stands to represent a past problem and then poses a question to the viewer, Can you see beyond whats in front of you? Can you see beyond yourself, your problems? your past?
Overall this is a confusing cluttered composed drawing - but all for a purpose. I hope everyone gets somthing out of this....id mean alot to me...anyway iv got a journal ramble on this drawing basicly of me repeating myself about this...
Now this is what I think extremely cool nifty art is. I love the purple. The fact you did this in ink has me very impressed, I can't live with out a pencil and to just let ones mind go with a pen is something I admire in people.
I must say, my favorite part is the clock. I'd love to just have that mini clock on my wall, in purple. I would never be able to tell what time it is, but it would look hot.
Very lovely work with the cross hatching, the shading and rendering is very well done, congrats and a plus fave ^^

wow, how long did that take i wonder? i love all the little intricate (sp) designs and the details, its really good, something i can stare at for hours and still find something new about the picture i never noticed before
i like the little wings coming out of the cross, and the sun-shaped thing that looks like its been stabbed through the paper.
very good!

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
